Our Ethical Breeding Standards

At Kentucky Goldendoodles, we adhere to strict ethical breeding standards to ensure the well-being and long-term health of our beloved Goldendoodles. We firmly believe that responsible breeding practices are paramount in producing puppies with excellent genetics, sound temperament, and optimal health.

The dam, Bailey, is our personal pet. She's an inside dog and considered a part of our family. Bailey is a wonderful pet, and we want to share her characteristics and traits with other families. Our motivation to breed her is simple; to share the love of Goldendoodles with additional families.

Our Pledge: We believe in transparent breeding practices, which is why each new family will receive a complimentary comprehensive Embark DNA test for breed and health results for their puppy. Additionally, new families will also have access to the DNA tests for both the sire and the dam. 

Health and Genetic Screening: We prioritize the health of our parent dogs by conducting comprehensive health screenings, including tests for genetic disorders and common breed-specific health issues.

Selective Breeding: We carefully selected parent dogs based on their temperament, intelligence, and physical attributes. Our goal is to enhance desirable traits, such as friendliness, trainability, and overall well-roundedness, in each generation of Goldendoodle puppies.

Socialization and Enrichment: Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment, receiving constant care, socialization, and exposure to various stimuli from an early age. This ensures that they develop into confident, adaptable, and well-socialized companions, ready to thrive in their new homes. Our puppies will be exposed to children at a young age, as well as Cheese, our cat. By exposing these puppies early we believe that our puppies will adapt well to their forever homes.

Quality Healthcare: We provide comprehensive veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, and regular check-ups, to ensure the health and vitality of our puppies. Each puppy receives the necessary preventive measures and is up-to-date on vaccinations before joining their new family.

Responsible Placement: We carefully screen potential adopters to ensure that our puppies are placed in suitable, loving homes. We prioritize matching each puppy's unique personality and energy level with the right family, setting them up for a harmonious and fulfilling life together.

Lifetime Support: Our commitment to our puppies extends beyond the adoption process. We provide ongoing support and guidance to our adoptive families, offering resources, training tips, and advice to ensure a successful transition and lifelong bond between the family and their Goldendoodle.
